  • Precautions and Antidotes
Accidental ingestion should be avoided at all costs. Wear protective clothing while spraying. Wash hands and body after spraying. Do not eat or drink or smoke while spraying.

If accidental poisoning occurs call physician immediately. If swallowed, gastric lavage with warm water may be given followed by administration of mixture containing activated charcoal 2 parts, magnesium oxide 1 part and tannic acid 1 part in 300 ml of warm water.

Atropine the patient immediately and maintain full atropinization by repeated doses of 2 to 4 mg at 5 to 10 minutes interval for hours together. The need for atropinization is indicated by the continuance of symptoms. As much as 25 to 50 mg may be required in a day. The extent of salivation is a useful criterion to follow in adjusting the dosage of atorpine. 1-2 gm 2 PAM dissolved in 10 CC distilled water and is injected intravenously very slowly for 10 to 15 minutes.
