Introduction:

Intop (Thiophante Methyl 70% WP) is a broad spectrum systemic fungicide having excellent preventive & curative properties. It contains Thiophanate Methyl 70% WP as the active ingredient. Intop is very effective in controlling a number of fungal diseases that infects crops such as fruits, vegetables, plantations, ornaments.

Mode of Action:

It passes through leaf cuticles (transcuticular) and moves locally (intralaminar) throughout the leaf tissue. Once inside the plant TPM (thiophanate-methyl) metabolizes into MBC (methyl benzimidazole carbamate), the principal fungitoxic compound. Intop treated cells cannot divide so growth is inhibited and adversely affects the fungal growth.
